Why Did you make Amenonuhoko?
I learned of the Shinto genesis mythology of the jeweled spear used to raise the first landmass and, it intrigued me.
What does Amenonuhoko represent?
It represents that the power of creation has always been a potent spiritual weapon.
What inspired Amenonuhoko?
After learning the story of Amenonuhoko, I want to possess a part of that creative power in some way. Creating it as an artwork seemed a good way for me to do that.
How did you make Amenonuhoko?
I use my fingers on a touchpad to create the work as a digital painting.
